Lifeline Animal Project: local no kill shelter that runs Fulton County and DeKalb County Animal Services. They offer low cost vaccinations and spay/neuter. Lots of cute dogs and cats available for adoption.
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF): AARF is a local rescue that also runs a retail pet store.They are located in Stone Mountain, carry many great products and also hold different events in their space.
Animal Action Rescue (AAR): all volunteer dog and cat rescue in Metro Atlanta.
Ruff Rescue: Foster based all breed dog and cat rescue.
Atlanta Underdog Initiative (AUDI): All volunteer, foster home based local rescue. Main focus on pit bulls and mastiffs.
Angels Among Us: Organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from local high kill shelters.
Friends of the Forlorn Pit Bull Rescue: Organization that promotes rescues pit bulls and promotes responsible Pit Bull ownership.
